Handover of New Residential Units in Cairo’s Sakan Misr Project

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the delivery of a new batch of residential units in the Sakan Misr project, located in New Cairo’s Exhibition Land area. A total of 96 housing units across four buildings will be handed over from Monday, September 2, 2024, to Thursday, September 5, 2024.

Delivery Schedule

Engineer Abdel Raouf El-Ghaity, Head of the New Cairo City Development Authority, detailed the delivery schedule:

  • Monday, September 2, 2024: Units in Building 195
  • Tuesday, September 3, 2024: Units in Building 185
  • Wednesday, September 4, 2024: Units in Building 186
  • Thursday, September 5, 2024: Units in Building 157

Handover Procedure

El-Ghaity advised the successful applicants to visit the Housing and Development Bank, Nasr City Branch (2 Abbas El-Akkad Street), to complete the contract procedures. Afterward, they should go to the New Cairo City Authority at the city center behind the Southern 90th Street Water Station, bringing the original bank letter and a copy of the signed checks to register their information and receive the site inspection and handover letter.

Updates on “Housing for All Egyptians” Initiative

Minister El-Sherbiny also reviewed the progress of the residential units under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” in four new cities: New Cairo, Hadayek Al-Asimah, 15th of May, and New Obour.
