Engineer Yasser Abdel Halim, Chairman of the Hadayek October City Authority, carried out an extensive field inspection tour to follow up on progress across a number of residential and service projects, with a particular focus on the “Valera Gardens” development located in the 219 Buildings area.

The visit aimed to evaluate the project’s actual completion rates, verify compliance with the approved implementation and delivery timelines, and review the quality of completed works as well as the services provided to housing beneficiaries.

Completion of 120 Residential Buildings with 2,880 Housing Units

During the tour, the chairman reviewed the progress of the second phase of the “Valera Gardens” project, where construction has been completed on 120 residential buildings comprising 2,880 fully finished housing units. All units have been equipped with the required utilities, reflecting substantial advancement in project implementation.

To date, 1,270 housing units have been handed over to eligible beneficiaries as part of the state’s efforts to provide integrated housing solutions that meet citizens’ needs and contribute to sustainable urban development.

The chairman noted that the project is among the city’s most important residential developments and forms part of the Ministry of Housing’s strategy to expand integrated urban communities supported by comprehensive infrastructure and services.

Handover of an Additional 1,296 Housing Units

The chairman also announced that preparations have been finalized for the delivery of 54 additional residential buildings containing 1,296 housing units. The handover process is scheduled to begin on June 7, in accordance with the timetable previously published on the City Authority’s official page.

He emphasized the importance of adhering strictly to the announced delivery schedule to ensure beneficiaries receive their units on time while providing all necessary support and facilitation throughout the handover process.

Follow-Up on Utilities and Service Infrastructure

The inspection tour further included a review of utility and service works in the Andalus area, formerly known as the 247 Buildings area. Officials evaluated the quality of services available to residents and monitored ongoing maintenance and public facility upgrade works.

The Chairman instructed relevant departments to expedite maintenance and development activities, intensify public cleanliness efforts, and continue enhancing green spaces, landscaping, and beautification projects to create a fully integrated urban environment and improve residents’ quality of life.

He affirmed that the City Authority remains committed to implementing plans aimed at upgrading existing residential districts in line with the state’s vision of improving service standards and achieving greater citizen satisfaction.

Emphasis on Quality Standards and Project Progress

The chairman stressed the importance of maintaining current construction progress and continuing implementation at the same accelerated pace while ensuring full compliance with technical specifications and approved quality standards throughout all stages of work.

He added that ongoing field inspections remain a key mechanism for ensuring project quality and achieving urban development objectives, noting that similar tours will continue during the coming period to monitor residential and service projects and guarantee the highest level of services for citizens.
