Engineer Yasser Abdullah Ramadan, Head of the New Qena City Development Authority, conducted an extensive inspection tour to monitor the progress of road and utilities projects across the city.

The visit was carried out in line with the directives of Engineer Randa El Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, and under the continuous supervision of Dr. Engineer Walid Abbas Abdel Qawy, Deputy Minister of Housing for the New Urban Communities Authority, emphasizing the need to accelerate work on national projects and enhance infrastructure efficiency in new cities.

The tour included an on-site inspection of the ongoing road paving works in the Third Residential District. During the visit, he reviewed the asphalt paving process and the operation of modern paving equipment, directing all parties to strictly adhere to the highest technical quality standards and the specifications outlined in the project contracts.

Yasser Abdullah Ramadan Inspects Paving Works and Stresses Quality and Timely Completion

During his inspection of the project sites, the Head of the Authority met with engineers and supervisors representing both the city authority and the executing company.

He stressed the importance of increasing work rates and maintaining around-the-clock operations to ensure the swift completion of all roads in the Third Residential District, facilitating movement for residents and providing a high-quality road network that supports the city’s ongoing urban expansion.

Engineer Yasser Abdullah Ramadan affirmed that the city authority is making every effort to remove any obstacles facing the executing companies. He noted that dedicated daily monitoring committees submit regular progress reports to ensure projects are completed and delivered on schedule without delays.

Continued Development of New Qena City’s Road Network to Support Urban Expansion

The Head of the Authority added that upgrading the city’s road network is one of the key pillars supporting urban development in New Qena City and improving the quality of services provided to residents.

He emphasized that daily field monitoring of implementation progress will continue, alongside full coordination with executing companies, to ensure all works are completed according to the approved timelines while achieving the highest standards of efficiency and quality across all ongoing projects.
