Dr. Sayed Ismail, Deputy Minister of Housing, affirmed the implementation of sanitation projects in Monufia Governorate as part of the Sustainable Rural Sanitation Services Program. The plan includes the construction of 3 wastewater treatment plants with a total capacity of 21,000 cubic meters per day, the development of 173 km of gravity sewer networks, 32 km of force mains, and the establishment of 17 lifting stations, with the execution progress exceeding 98%. Dr. Ismail emphasized the importance of daily coordination between all stakeholders to ensure the success of the projects despite existing challenges.

This came during an inspection visit conducted by Governor Ibrahim Abu Limon and Dr. Ismail to monitor the implementation of the program’s second phase and inaugurate new projects within the governorate.
