Engineer Khaled Attia, Head of the Executive Agency for Joint Projects, affiliated with the Central Agency for Reconstruction at the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the offering of 41 semi-finished housing units in the New Residential Community in Helwan. The units range in size from 68 to 96 square meters, with reservations opening on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, and continuing until all available units are sold.
Attia said in a statement today, Monday, that the offering is part of the agency’s efforts to provide distinguished housing units in fully serviced urban communities while offering flexible payment systems that accommodate different segments of citizens and support homeownership opportunities. He noted that the New Residential Community in Helwan has witnessed growing demand due to its prime location and the availability of essential services and infrastructure.
He explained that reservations require the payment of EGP 150,000 as a reservation deposit, after which buyers may complete payment through one of two methods. The first option is full payment, whereby the remaining unit price must be paid within two months from the date of paying the reservation deposit, with the buyer receiving a 3% discount on the remaining balance of the unit price.
He added that the second option allows payment through installments. Under this system, buyers must pay a 15% allocation payment within 15 days from the date of paying the reservation deposit, then increase the total amount paid to 50% of the unit’s total price within two months from the allocation payment date.
The remaining 50% of the unit price can then be paid in monthly installments over 5, 10, or 15 years, according to the buyer’s preference and financial capability, at an interest rate of 7%. The Head of the Executive Agency for Joint Projects pointed out that the first installment becomes due upon delivery of the housing unit, providing additional payment facilities for those wishing to own a home in the New Residential Community in Helwan.
He also noted that the terms and specifications booklet is available at the headquarters of the Executive Agency for Joint Projects in the Atlas area of Helwan for EGP 356, urging citizens interested in booking to apply promptly before all available units are sold out.
