Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi affirmed that Israel has crossed all boundaries in remarks delivered during the Extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha regarding the assault on Hamas. He warned that these actions threaten existing peace agreements, noting that Israel’s current moves are characterized by hostility and pose a danger to regional stability.
In his address, El-Sisi stressed that Israeli behavior is widening the scope of conflict and pushing the region toward a dangerous wave of escalation. He added that Israel is deliberately working to sabotage ceasefire efforts, adopting an aggressive approach aimed at obstructing peace initiatives. He called for joint cooperation to defend Arab and Islamic interests against Israel’s reckless actions.
He pointed out that Israel’s security and peace cannot be achieved by imposing policies through force, but rather through adherence to international law and respect for the sovereignty of Arab and Islamic states. He emphasized that this sovereignty is non-negotiable under any pretext. In his message to the Israeli people, he stressed that the current escalation represents a threat to peace opportunities and the security of all, warning that it may undermine both new and existing peace agreements, leading to dire consequences that could drag the region back into conflict.

El-Sisi further stated that what is happening now undermines the historic achievements made in the pursuit of peace. He warned that any regression from these achievements will exact a price on all parties. He urged the Israeli people not to allow the sacrifices of past generations in pursuit of peace to be wasted.
He also underscored the importance of changing how others perceive Arab and Islamic nations, stating that achieving this requires strong decisions and sincere, genuine recommendations. He called for the establishment of an Arab-Islamic mechanism for coordination and cooperation to confront the political, security, and economic challenges facing the region. He stressed that such a mechanism has become essential to enhance the capacity to safeguard common interests.
The Egyptian president also reiterated his country’s firm rejection of targeting civilians, collective punishment, and the starvation of Gaza over the past two years. He emphasized that military solutions and rejecting mediation efforts will not bring security to any party. He firmly rejected any proposals aimed at displacing Palestinians from their land, describing such ideas as both illegal and immoral.
