El-Sherbiny Reviews Progress of Housing for All Egyptians and Deyarna Units Across Several Cities

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, reviewed the latest implementation progress of several housing projects in the cities of Badr, New Qena, New Minya, and New Borg El-Arab. These projects include the Presidential initiative Housing for All Egyptians as well as middle-income housing units under the Deyarna program.

During his meetings, the minister stressed the need for strict monitoring of execution rates and taking necessary measures against companies that fail to comply with contractual terms and technical standards. He also emphasized the importance of adhering to delivery schedules for eligible citizens while ensuring the provision of essential services to meet the needs of residents in these new communities.

In Badr City, Engineer El-Sayed Ibrahim Amin, Head of the City Authority, followed up on the Housing for All Egyptians – Middle-Income Track project, which includes 44 buildings. He focused on accelerating construction while maintaining the highest quality standards.

In New Qena City, Engineer Yasser Abdullah Ramadan, Head of the City Authority, oversaw the execution of 552 housing units with an area of 90 square meters each, 180 units with an area of 75 square meters, in addition to 130 units within the Deyarna middle-income housing project. He also monitored site coordination works to create a fully integrated residential environment.

In New Minya City, Engineer Ahmed Mostafa Mohamed, Head of the City Authority, reviewed road paving works surrounding 32 buildings as part of the Housing for All Egyptians project. It was announced that 70% of the works have been completed in an area spanning 1,360 feddans.

In New Borg El-Arab City, Engineer Mohamed El-Ghamrawy, Head of the City Authority, held a meeting with representatives of companies responsible for 209 buildings (5,016 units), part of the fifth phase of the Housing for All Egyptians initiative. The meeting focused on raising execution rates and ensuring the preparation of regular reports aligned with the approved timelines.

For their part, the executive authorities confirmed that the works are progressing according to the pre-set technical specifications and requirements, in line with the Social Housing Fund’s plan to deliver units within the scheduled deadlines.
