The Importance of Developing Industrial Areas in Line with State Policies to Facilitate Investors

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini, Minister of Housing and Utilities, has been closely monitoring the development of sewage and infrastructure systems in new industrial zones and improving the efficiency of Tenth of Ramadan City. The ongoing projects include constructing a pumping station, industrial wastewater pipelines, and water and road networks. El-Sherbini stressed the importance of continuous oversight to ensure that projects are finished to the highest quality standards. He also highlighted the necessity of developing industrial areas to simplify procedures for investors, particularly in light of the new incentives introduced by the state.

Engineer Alaa Abdallah Mostafa, Head of the Tenth of Ramadan City Development Authority, conducted an inspection tour to monitor the progress of the industrial wastewater treatment plant, which has a capacity of 130,000 cubic meters per day. His tour included reviewing updates on constructing a new screening building, installing two sewage pipelines with a diameter of 1,400 mm, and creating two anaerobic basins. Additionally, work is being done to reinforce the Oxidation Pond No. 3 embankments. The third anaerobic pond has also undergone rehabilitation, along with the construction of concrete maintenance holes and the installation of GRP pipes for transporting treated water. The head of the authority also inspected infrastructure projects in industrial zones, including utility works in heavy industrial areas and upgrading infrastructure in Industrial Zone A’3.

Engineer Alaa Abdallah Mostafa also followed up on the road network improvement works in the city, which include enhancing sidewalks and installing interlocking tiles on Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Axis to improve aesthetics and road efficiency. Additionally, he supervised asphalt maintenance on Omar Ibn Abdul Aziz Axis, where the old asphalt layer was removed and replaced with a new layer to ensure quality and safety. Furthermore, he conducted an inspection tour in several neighborhoods to identify challenges and enhance the services provided to citizens.
