Egypt’s Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities has unveiled plans to offer villas and residential units starting in February 2025. The announcement was made during a meeting with Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, where the minister also discussed the progress of the “Your Home in Egypt” initiative designed for Egyptians living abroad.

About the “Your Home in Egypt” Initiative

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, the Minister of Housing, highlighted that the initiative aims to deliver 5,000 villas and residential units. The properties will include 4,200 units in key locations such as the New Administrative Capital, 6th of October City, New Alamein, New Mansoura, and Sheikh Zayed, along with several coastal villages. Additionally, 800 units will be offered in Madinaty and El-Salam.

Online Platform Launch in January

The initiative will launch an online platform in January 2025 to facilitate browsing and booking of units. Interested buyers can reserve units from February for a duration of one month.

This follows a recent announcement by the Minister regarding complementary transfer bookings for 1,760 units in the tenth phase of the “Beit Al-Watan” project for Egyptians abroad. These units, located in seven new cities, were available for booking over five days starting October 2, 2024.

The initiative underscores Egypt’s commitment to providing modern housing solutions while encouraging investment from the Egyptian diaspora.
