Egypt’s Housing Ministry Announces Prices for “New Garden City” Project in the New Administrative Capital

The Ministry of Housing, represented by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), has officially announced the prices for residential and villa units in the New Garden City district (Fifth Residential District) in the New Administrative Capital. This marks the launch of the first phase under the “Your Home in Egypt” initiative, which targets Egyptian expatriates.

Project Overview

  • Total Area: 885 feddans.
  • Residential Buildings: 385 buildings with 21,494 apartments.
  • Commercial Units: 513 units.
  • Villas: 456 villas with diverse architectural designs.
  • Unit Sizes: Ranging from 79 m² to 344 m².
  • Price per Square Meter: Starts at EGP 37,000.
  • Architectural Style: Inspired by Khedivial Cairo with a blend of modern French design.
  • Prime Location: Near the Central Business District, Green River, and the Iconic Tower.
  • Comprehensive Services: Includes educational, commercial, recreational, sports, and religious facilities.

Fourth-Generation Cities and Housing Investments

The Housing Ministry is currently developing 24 new cities, accommodating 32 million people, with total investments reaching EGP 1.3 trillion (2014–2023). Notably, fourth-generation cities account for EGP 975 billion of these investments.
