Mai Abdel Hamid, CEO of the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Support Fund, confirmed that the total amount of financing provided by the Fund to low- and middle-income citizens reached EGP 84.64 billion by the end of April 2025.
This comes within the framework of state-supported housing programs. Abdel Hamid pointed out that more than 630,000 individuals from various segments of society have benefited from these financings, as part of the state’s efforts to enable citizens to access affordable housing through the mortgage initiatives launched by the Central Bank of Egypt.
