Eng. Amin Ghoneim, Deputy Head of the New Urban Communities Authority for Utilities and Maintenance of Networks and Stations, conducted an inspection visit to Sadat City to monitor the progress of ongoing projects. He was accompanied by Eng. Yasser Abdel Halim Hassan, Head of the City Authority, along with other officials and project managers, following the directives of Eng. Sherif Al-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities.
At the start of the visit, housing officials presented the execution status of the projects, emphasizing the need to evaluate contractors’ adherence to approved specifications and timelines, while ensuring the quality of implementation.
The visit included a field tour across various city neighborhoods. Key stops included the first phase of the new purification plant, with a capacity of 87,000 cubic meters per day, and the wastewater treatment plant for residential sewage, with a capacity of 50,000 cubic meters per day, to verify compliance with contractual conditions in the operation and maintenance of the plant. The visit also reviewed ongoing road, lighting, and landscaping works.
During the visit, meetings were held with Eng. Yasser Abdel Halim, executive leaders of the authority, and contractors to discuss challenges facing ongoing or completed projects and propose appropriate solutions.
Eng. Amin Ghoneim stressed the importance of regular project monitoring and continuous coordination to overcome obstacles and accelerate the pace of work.
At the conclusion of the visit, officials reaffirmed the importance of teamwork to achieve desired goals and provide outstanding services to citizens.
