The New Urban Communities Authority, represented by the development agencies of New Akhmim, New Minya, New 6th of October, and Capital Gardens cities, announced the offering of several commercial shops, pharmacies, and administrative and professional units for sale by public auction.
This comes as part of the efforts of the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities to provide various services, commercial activities, and administrative and professional activities for residents of the new cities.
The offerings are part of the authority’s plan to enhance the level of services provided to citizens and provide diverse commercial and administrative activities that meet the needs of residents of the new cities. This will also help support commercial and service activity in these areas.
In Capital Gardens City, 6 commercial shops ranging from 17 to 35 square meters will be offered for sale by public auction. The shops are distributed across several areas of the city. The auction session is scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
The offering also includes a citizens’ service kiosk within the administrative building of the city development agency, covering 18 square meters. The kiosk will be allocated for document copying, dry food, and beverage activities. It will be offered under a three-year usufruct license through a public auction on the same day.
In New Minya City, the authority announced the offering of 10 commercial shops ranging from 20 to 133 square meters, along with 2 basement units ranging from 82 to 140 square meters. The offering also includes 3 administrative and professional units ranging from 39 to 55 square meters across different areas of the city. The auction session will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026.
In the new 6th of October City auction, the auction includes 10 commercial shops and a pharmacy ranging from 10 to 100 square meters. It also includes 4 administrative and professional units ranging from 30 to 60 square meters.
The auction session is scheduled for Tuesday, September 29, 2026, covering the units located across different areas of the city. Meanwhile, New Akhmim City is preparing to offer 4 commercial shops ranging from 33 to 34 square meters. The offering also includes 2 administrative and professional units ranging from 33 to 67 square meters.
The public auction is scheduled for Sunday, October 11, 2026, covering the units located in several areas of the city. These offerings are part of the New Urban Communities Authority’s efforts to increase the activities and services available within the new cities. They also aim to create an integrated urban environment that meets residents’ needs and supports commercial, professional, and administrative activities.
