Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the launch of the handover process for 147 residential land plots in the “Most Distinguished G.H” areas located in District 39 (formerly known as the 2,600-feddan area). These plots were allocated to Egyptians working abroad under the ninth phase of the “Beit El Watan” project in New Obour City.
The handover process will begin on Sunday, September 21, 2025, and continue until Wednesday, November 5, 2025, according to the schedule prepared by the New Obour City Development Authority. The Minister emphasized the importance of facilitating the process for beneficiaries during the handover, ensuring that the operation is well-organized, and verifying the readiness of utilities such as water and sewage at the designated handover sites.

In the same context, the New Obour City Authority clarified that clients are required to visit the Customer Service Technology Center at the authority’s main headquarters to open a special file for their allocated plot. Applicants must present proof of payment of the due installments, along with all documents related to the land.
