City of 10th of Ramadan Explores Smart Transformation and Sustainable Development with Korean Partnership

ng. Alaa Abdallah Mostafa, Head of the Development Authority for the 10th of Ramadan City, held a meeting with a delegation from a Korean company specializing in smart city transformation and sustainable development. The discussion centered on potential collaboration to implement training programs and exchange expertise with cities in Korea that share similarities with the 10th of Ramadan.

Strategic Vision for Smart and Sustainable Cities

During the meeting, Eng. Mostafa emphasized the significance of strategic partnerships in adopting global best practices for smart transformation. He highlighted that such initiatives align with the city’s vision to become a leading model for sustainable new cities in Egypt and the region. The collaboration aims to enhance the city’s smart infrastructure and strengthen its position locally and internationally.

Addressing Infrastructure Challenges

In a related development, Eng. Mostafa also met with representatives from a consulting firm tasked with conducting a comprehensive hydraulic balance study of the city’s water and sewage networks.

The meeting focused on addressing issues of low water pressure in some areas and discussing solutions. The discussions included plans to:

  • Expedite assessments of the current water stations and networks.
  • Propose immediate and long-term measures to improve water service.
  • Ensure adequate water pressure across all areas of the city.

These efforts reflect the city’s continuous drive to enhance infrastructure efficiency and deliver better services to its residents, reinforcing its role as a benchmark for urban development in Egypt.
