The General Authority for Building and Housing Cooperatives, headed by Major General Engineer Walid El Baroudi, has announced the opening of reservations for 314 new residential units in prime locations across several new cities. The offering includes units in New Cairo, 6th of October City, Badr City, 10th of Ramadan City, 15th of May City, Suez, Port Said, and Arish.
El Baroudi explained that the offering comes as part of the Authority’s efforts, under the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, to support the state’s urban expansion plans and provide housing units that meet the needs of various segments of citizens.
He noted that the available units feature strategic locations and a variety of sizes ranging from 47 to 155 square meters, offering multiple ownership options for prospective buyers. He added that the terms and specifications booklets will be available at the Authority’s headquarters, as well as its branches in Suez, Port Said, and Arish, in addition to the North Sinai Governorate building, during the period from July 6, 2026, to July 30, 2026.
He emphasized that the reservation and allocation procedures will be carried out according to the highest standards of transparency and impartiality and in accordance with the announced terms and regulations. The Chairman of the Authority also stated that the public allocation lotteries will be held at 12:00 PM according to the schedules outlined in the terms booklet.
The lotteries for projects in New Cairo, 6th of October City, Badr City, 15th of May City, and 10th of Ramadan City will take place at the Authority’s headquarters, while the lotteries for projects in Suez, Port Said, and Arish will be held at the respective branch offices. He pointed out that applicants who pay the full value of their residential unit will have the right to select their unit directly before the lottery is conducted.
El Baroudi affirmed that the Ministry of Housing continues to implement the state’s vision of providing suitable housing for citizens and promoting sustainable urban development. He noted that the Authority remains committed to launching distinguished residential projects at competitive prices across various new cities, contributing to expanding homeownership opportunities, meeting the growing demand for housing, and supporting social stability.
