The Badr City Development Authority, affiliated with the New Urban Communities Authority, has announced that it is offering (33) commercial shops and (3) pharmacies for sale through a public auction. The sizes of these units range between 15 m² and 99 m². They are located in the significant commercial market in the Al-Banafseg area of the Fifth District and under the social housing buildings in the eastern extension of the city.
The offering also includes a fully equipped local bakery covering an area of 395 m², complete with all necessary facilities and a surrounding wall. It is located in the 53-building area of Sakan Misr in the eastern extension of the city.
The public auction sessions will be held in two phases. The first session will take place on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, for the sale of (10) shops, (2) pharmacies, and the bakery, while the second session will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025, for the sale of (13) shops and (1) pharmacy.
Interested participants can purchase the terms and conditions booklet from the authority’s headquarters for EGP 299 for shops and pharmacies and EGP 399 for bakeries.
To participate in the auction, bidders must pay a security deposit of EGP 100,000 for each pharmacy, EGP 50,000 for each shop, and EGP 150,000 for the bakery. This amount will be refunded if the bidder does not win the auction. The winning buyer must immediately pay 10% of the unit’s value upon awarding, in addition to a 1% administrative fee and a 0.5% contribution to the Board of Trustees.
