The Badr City Development Authority continues to implement a number of infrastructure projects aimed at supporting the efficiency of the drinking water system, securing residents’ needs, and addressing various operating conditions and emergencies.
This comes within the directives of Eng. Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and New Urban Communities; Eng. Ahmed Omran, Deputy Minister of Housing for the Utilities Sector; and Eng. Ahmed Ali, Vice President of the Authority for the Utilities Sector, to continue developing and improving the efficiency of drinking water systems in new cities and enhance the level of services provided to citizens.
As a new step toward strengthening the drinking water system in Badr City, the Authority, headed by Eng. El-Sayed Amin, is working to improve the efficiency of the main networks, ensuring service sustainability and improving water pressure levels in residential areas.
The Badr City Development Authority, headed by Eng. El-Sayed Amin, continues its work to develop and secure the city’s main drinking water networks. A 500 mm-diameter connection chamber is currently being constructed on the main supply line to support network efficiency and enhance drinking water pressure, particularly in the Sixth District.
The project aims to improve the efficiency of the water distribution system and increase its capacity to meet the growing needs of residents in line with the development and urban expansion taking place in Badr City.
Eng. El-Sayed Amin, head of the Badr City Development Authority, affirmed that the development of the drinking water system is among the vital projects the authority is working to implement to secure the service and improve its operational efficiency. He pointed out that the Authority continues to implement integrated plans to develop infrastructure and utility networks in line with the city’s population growth and urban expansion.
For his part, Eng. Assem Ezzat, deputy head of the Badr City Development Authority, explained that the network development works aim to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the drinking water system and increase its capacity to provide stable services to residents. He stressed the importance of adhering to approved specifications and technical standards throughout all stages of implementation.
Eng. Hossam Gamal, Deputy Head of the Authority, noted that the ongoing works are being carried out in accordance with the established schedules and approved technical specifications, with continued field follow-up of the implementation stages to ensure swift completion, verify the quality of the works, and achieve the highest levels of operational efficiency for the drinking water network.
The Badr City Development Authority affirmed its continued implementation and follow-up of projects to develop drinking water networks and utilities, contributing to improving the level of services provided to citizens, supporting the city’s urban development plans, ensuring the sustainability of utility systems, and enhancing their capacity to meet current and future needs.
