As part of the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities’ efforts to strengthen discipline in new cities and enhance the efficiency of the field monitoring system, Eng. El Sayed Amin, Head of the Badr City Development Authority, continued implementing large-scale campaigns to remove encroachments and unauthorized occupations in residential neighborhoods.
The campaigns are part of a comprehensive plan aimed at preserving the city’s civilized appearance, improving traffic flow, and providing residents with a safe and well-organized environment. The campaigns were carried out under the direct instructions of Eng. El Sayed Amin, Head of the Authority, under the supervision of Eng. Mohamed Mostafa, Deputy Head of the Authority for Development, and led by Eng.
El Sayed Saeed, Director of the Development Department, and secured by Yasser Abdullah, Director of the Security Department. Work teams were deployed across several targeted areas to remove all forms of encroachments and violations that obstruct citizens’ movement or negatively impact the city’s urban appearance.
Campaigns Target First, Second, and Fifth Residential Districts
The campaigns covered the First, Second, and Fifth Residential Districts, where field inspection teams surveyed streets and main roads to identify and immediately remove encroachments and violations while taking the necessary legal measures against offenders. This comes as part of the Authority’s plan to restore discipline throughout the city’s neighborhoods and prevent the recurrence of violations.
Head of Badr City Authority Affirms Daily Enforcement Campaigns Without Leniency
Eng. El Sayed Amin, head of the Badr City Development Authority, stressed that the authority will not tolerate any encroachments on roads or sidewalks, emphasizing that removal campaigns will continue on a daily basis and that there will be no leniency toward anyone who infringes on citizens’ right to use public roads or distorts the city’s civilized appearance.
He added that the Authority is implementing a clear field plan covering all neighborhoods without exception to reinforce the rule of law and enforce regulations firmly, contributing to a safe and civilized environment worthy of Badr City’s residents while supporting the city’s ongoing development efforts.
For his part, Eng. Mohamed Mostafa, Deputy Head of the Authority for Development, affirmed that encroachment removal campaigns are conducted regularly and without prior notice to detect and address all violations immediately. He noted that the authority continues its daily campaigns while taking the necessary legal action against all violators to protect citizens’ rights and ensure the safe use of roads and sidewalks.
He added that continuous field monitoring and full coordination among the authority’s various departments contribute to the swift implementation of campaigns and the achievement of tangible results on the ground, enhancing service quality and improving operational efficiency throughout the city.
Badr City Authority Urges Business Owners to Comply with Regulations
Eng. El Sayed Amin called on owners of commercial establishments and various business activities to comply with the applicable regulations and refrain from occupying public roads or sidewalks.
He affirmed that encroachment removal campaigns will continue across all parts of the city without interruption to ensure that Badr City remains a model of urban development, reflecting the state’s efforts to develop new cities while achieving the highest standards of discipline and quality of life for its residents.
