Assistant Minister of Housing Tours Conference Center for Urban Forum Preparations

Dr. Abdul Khalek Ibrahim, the Assistant Minister of Housing, along with his team, toured various halls and pavilions at the Manara International Conference Center, which is being prepared to host a range of events and sessions for the upcoming World Urban Forum. The center is set to accommodate over 115 pavilions for both international and local organizations, with participation from more than 52 countries worldwide.

During his visit, Dr. Ibrahim inspected the national pavilion of the Arab Republic of Egypt to ensure that preparations were in place for showcasing Egypt’s urban experience. He emphasized the government’s efforts to enhance the quality of life for Egyptian citizens through several key initiatives. These include diverse housing projects, fourth-generation cities, and the country’s commitment to sustainable green urban development.

Additionally, the national pavilion will feature partnerships with the private sector, highlighting the contributions of investors and real estate developers in their respective projects. This comprehensive presentation aims to illustrate Egypt’s dedication to urban development and sustainable living.
