Application Open for Deputy Minister of Housing Positions in Four Key Leadership Specialties

The Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities has announced the opening of applications for new leadership positions to appoint deputy ministers from among young professionals to enhance the ministry’s performance. The appointment will be on a secondment basis for one year, renewable. The available positions include deputies in urban planning, digital transformation, project implementation monitoring, finance, and administration. The ministry has set specific conditions for applicants, including Egyptian citizens, permanent ministry employees, and having a good record without criminal convictions.

To apply for the position, candidates must not have been dismissed from service, must be at least 35 years old, and must hold a suitable university degree. They should possess leadership skills, proficiency in computer usage, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in management and electronic development. Additionally, fluency in English and strong capabilities in task execution are required. The responsibilities include overseeing updating urban plans, project management, performance monitoring, preparing periodic reports, and handling official correspondence.

The Ministry of Housing has announced the application process for new deputies who will contribute to providing innovative solutions to the ministry’s challenges in line with the minister’s directives. The Permanent Committee for Leadership Positions will manage the application process. Candidates must submit their resumes, qualifications, and a recent personal photo within 15 days from the announcement date. A specific job application form is available at the committee’s technical secretariat and must be completed along with the required documents before the submission deadline. These positions are part of the ministry’s strategy to support young leaders and enhance institutional performance to achieve sustainable urban development goals.
