During his inspection tour today in New Alamein City, Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly followed up on the progress of delivering residential, administrative, and commercial units. He inquired about the number of units delivered so far from the Minister of Housing.

In this context, the Prime Minister listened to a detailed explanation from Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, regarding the implementation rates of various residential projects across all levels. He also reviewed the status of unit handovers to applicants, as well as plans for the operation of service projects and the status of retail and commercial unit sales.

6,396 Housing Units Delivered and Inspected in the First Phase of New Alamein City

El-Sherbiny noted that the first phase of the multi-level housing units implemented by the Ministry of Housing includes three zones of mixed-use beach towers, comprising four towers, in addition to the Mazarine compound, the Latin District, Downtown buildings, Sakan Misr, and Distinguished Housing projects — totaling 28,975 residential units.

A total of 15,295 units have been sold, and 11,320 units are ready for delivery, with 6,396 units already handed over to customers. The goal is to deliver all sold units before June 30, 2025. The second phase of the project includes four zones with mixed-use beach towers comprising 14 towers, along with five towers in the Marina area and five more in Downtown, totaling approximately 11,616 residential units. The concrete structures for three beach towers and five Downtown towers have been completed, and finishing works are currently underway. Additionally, the construction of 6,786 mid-level housing units under the “Dyarna” project has begun.

Service buildings have also been activated in New Alamein City, including two mosques, a church, a school, and a nursery.

It was announced that 65 commercial units have begun operations in the North Square Mall project, and 110 other commercial units have been sold across different city developments. Of these, 45 units have been handed over to clients, while the remaining units are ready for immediate delivery.

Engineer Ahmed Ibrahim, Head of the City Authority, also clarified that all infrastructure network works — including electricity, water, sewage, irrigation, and storm drainage — have been completed and connected to the ongoing projects. Moreover, road networks for the first phase have been finalized, with the target of completing all works before June 2025.
