50% of Alamein Industrial Zone Sold, Says Housing Minister

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced that the industrial zone in New Alamein City has reached 50% in sales. Speaking at a ceremony for the handover of several residential units, El-Sherbini highlighted the city’s strategic importance, emphasizing its role in Egypt’s ongoing urban development efforts.

The industrial zone in New Alamein City spans a total area of 5,512 acres, with 2,400 acres allocated specifically for industrial activities. Additionally, the city includes 3,000 acres designated for logistical areas and a dry port, enhancing its appeal as a major industrial and trade hub.

El-Sherbini further assured that the Ministry of Housing is committed to delivering all sold units by next summer, underscoring the government’s dedication to accelerating urban development and meeting the growing demand for industrial and residential spaces in New Alamein. This initiative is part of a broader plan to boost investment, drive economic growth, and support Egypt’s vision for sustainable urban expansion.
