Engineer Ayman Rashad, Head of the New Sohag City Development Authority, announced the launch of a new package of distinguished investment land plots during June 2026, following the approval of the New Urban Communities Authority.
The offering comes in implementation of the directives of Engineer Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, and Dr. Walid Abbas, Deputy Minister of Housing for New Urban Communities Affairs, to accelerate urban development rates and strengthen private sector investment in Egypt’s new cities.
The Head of the Authority explained that the new offering includes five investment land plots designated for a variety of activities, including commercial, administrative, and exhibition uses, in several strategic and prime locations throughout New Sohag City. The initiative aims to meet the growing demand for investment opportunities in the city while supporting its comprehensive development plans.
The first investment opportunity is Plot No. (7) in the recreational area of the Fourth District, designated for administrative use. The plot covers an area of 610 square meters and has an approved estimated price of EGP 16,025 per square meter.
The offering also includes Plot No. (14) in the industrial zone services area of the Fourth District, designated for exhibition activities. The plot has an area of 530 square meters, with an estimated price of EGP 15,375 per square meter.
Among the available opportunities is Plot No. (4) in the “Build Your Home 2” area in the Second District – Sector (A), designated for commercial use. The plot spans 1,217 square meters and has an estimated price of EGP 18,170 per square meter.
In addition, Plot No. (67) in the First District Services Area has been offered for commercial use. The plot covers 1,623 square meters and has an estimated price of EGP 25,440 per square meter.
The investment package also includes Plot No. (6) in the Nargis Social Housing Area in the Seventh District. Designated for commercial use, the plot has an area of 725 square meters and an estimated price of EGP 26,430 per square meter.
Engineer Ayman Rashad emphasized that all the offered land plots are located in strategic and distinguished areas within New Sohag City, providing promising investment opportunities across commercial, administrative, and service sectors. He noted that these opportunities will contribute to strengthening the city’s economic and urban development.
He further stated that the City Development Authority continues to implement its sustainable development plans while providing additional investment opportunities that meet market demands and reinforce New Sohag City’s position as one of Upper Egypt’s most promising investment destinations.
This land offering is part of the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities’ ongoing efforts to support sustainable urban development, increase investment rates in new cities, and create an attractive environment for capital investment, contributing to Egypt’s urban expansion and economic development objectives.
