Engineer Alaa Abdel-Latif Mostafa, Head of the 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority and Supervisor of the Hadayek 10th of Ramadan City Authority, affirmed the continued implementation of intensive field inspection campaigns aimed at detecting and removing building violations and addressing all forms of encroachment on state-owned land.
These measures are part of the authority’s ongoing efforts to uphold urban planning standards and enforce order across all residential districts in 10th of Ramadan City.
He clarified that the Development and Removal Sector has carried out a series of expanded inspection campaigns covering several residential areas within the city. These operations led to the suspension and removal of multiple building violations and encroachments identified through routine monitoring and follow-up.
The campaigns were conducted in accordance with the directives of Engineer Randa Al-Manshawi, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, calling for intensified field oversight and strict action against violations.
They were carried out under the direct supervision of Engineer Alaa Abdel-Latif Mostafa, with participation from the departments of encroachments, occupancy, security, traffic, equipment, and residential districts, as well as cleaning and beautification units.
Intensive Inspection Campaigns in 10th of Ramadan City Lead to Removal of Violations and Prevention of Land Encroachment
During field follow-ups, specialized committees successfully stopped an attempted encroachment on land belonging to the city authority in the First District center. A shop owner had begun constructing walls on the roof of Building No. (3), attempting to unlawfully utilize the roof space—owned by the authority—for personal benefit, in violation of applicable laws and regulations. The violation was promptly halted, and legal measures were taken against the responsible party.
In another case, the inspection teams removed unauthorized construction additions on Plot No. (20) in Neighborhood (20), Third District. These additions included violations of the legally required side and rear setbacks, breaching approved building regulations. The structures were immediately removed to protect urban planning standards and maintain the city’s orderly appearance.
The Head of the Authority emphasized that these actions are part of a comprehensive, ongoing strategy to eliminate informal practices and prevent any misuse of state-owned land or unauthorized construction without permits, stressing that preserving the city’s urban identity remains a top priority.
Engineer Alaa Abdel-Latif Mostafa reaffirmed that inspection and monitoring campaigns will continue across all residential districts, with swift and firm action taken against any detected violation. He added that the authority strictly enforces the law to maintain urban discipline, protect state rights, and ensure a civilized environment befitting the 10th of Ramadan City.
