The 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority has continued carrying out intensive field campaigns aimed at removing encroachments and violations across different parts of the city. Monitoring efforts have also been intensified during weekends and official holidays as part of ongoing measures to safeguard the city’s urban appearance and ensure discipline in streets and public spaces.
These initiatives are being implemented in accordance with the directives of Engineer Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, under the supervision of Engineer Alaa Abdel Aal Mostafa, Head of the 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority and Supervisor of the 10th District Gardens Authority.
As part of these efforts, the Encroachments and Violations Department, Security Department, Transportation and Equipment Department, Sanitation and Beautification Department, and Residential Districts Department, in cooperation with the Facilities Police, organized a large-scale campaign covering several main roads and vital corridors throughout the city.
The campaign focused on removing encroachments from roads and public squares and eliminating unauthorized occupations in front of the Sednawi Building in the First District.
Inspection teams also carried out extensive field visits across the district, leading to the removal of all detected violations and encroachments. The campaign was subsequently expanded to include the Third and Fourth Districts, as well as the residential buildings area in the Eleventh District.
In line with efforts to tighten control over unauthorized activities, the campaign also succeeded in seizing illegally installed children’s swings in the Twelfth District. The confiscated equipment was transferred to the authority’s warehouses pending the completion of the required legal procedures.
The campaign further extended to the Al Andalus District and the city’s commercial markets as part of the authority’s strategy to continuously monitor violations and take immediate action against any newly established encroachments or attempts to unlawfully occupy roads and public squares.
As a result of these operations, 60 encroachment violations were removed and documented, with the appropriate legal actions taken against those responsible. These measures help ensure smooth traffic movement and contribute to preserving the city’s organized and civilized appearance.
The Head of the Authority emphasized that these campaigns will continue regularly and through surprise inspections across all districts of the city. He stressed that enforcement measures are implemented in full accordance with the law without exceptions and affirmed that no violations affecting the city’s urban character will be allowed.
