Engineer Alaa Abdel Lattif, head of the 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority, announced the energization of the first electricity distributor in the 2,200-feddan industrial zone southwest of the city.
The move marks a new step toward strengthening the area’s infrastructure and enhancing its readiness to accommodate industrial projects, paving the way for the completion of the region’s full electrical supply network.
Operating the First Electricity Distributor to Support Industrial Investments
The head of the authority explained that this comes in implementation of the directives of Engineer Randa El Menshawy, minister of housing, utilities, and urban communities, to accelerate the completion of utilities and infrastructure projects in new cities.
The project is being carried out under the supervision of Engineer Alaa Abdel Lattif Mostafa, Head of the 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority and Supervisor of Hadayek, 10th of Ramadan City, who instructed teams to accelerate implementation and complete the electrical supply works according to the approved timetable, supporting industrial development and enhancing the area’s readiness to attract investments.
The Head of the Authority confirmed that the works included energizing the first electricity distributor out of a total of 18 distributors planned for the industrial zone southwest of the city. The remaining distributors will be energized successively, creating an integrated electrical supply system capable of serving approximately 500 factories, supporting the operation of industrial projects, and strengthening the efficiency of the area’s infrastructure.

Engineer Alaa Abdel Lattif Mostafa noted that completing the electrical supply network is one of the key factors in accelerating industrial development. He emphasized that the Authority continues implementing utility projects under a comprehensive plan aimed at providing advanced infrastructure that meets investors’ needs, supports industrial activity, and reinforces the economic position of the 10th of Ramadan City as one of Egypt’s largest industrial hubs.
Engineer Alaa Abdel Lattif, Head of the Authority, also revealed that the development of the power infrastructure system is being implemented in line with the leadership’s directives to continue upgrading industrial zones and all existing industries. He added that the city’s development plan also targets the continuous modernization of infrastructure systems in accordance with the state’s development vision.
