These ongoing efforts are part of a broader strategy to maintain the city’s civilized appearance and ensure order across streets and public squares.

The initiatives are carried out in line with the directives of Engineer Randa Al-Manshawi, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, and under the supervision of Engineer Alaa Abdel-Alah Mostafa, Head of the 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority and supervisor of the Hadayek 10th of Ramadan Authority.

Within this framework, departments responsible for encroachments and violations; security, movement, and equipment; cleanliness and beautification; and residential districts—working in coordination with the Facilities Police—launched a wide-ranging campaign covering major roads, key axes, and vital locations throughout the city.

The objective was to eliminate random informal activities and remove all forms of encroachment that hinder traffic flow or negatively impact the city’s visual appearance.

The campaign led to the confiscation of 6 carts used for selling beans, 5 wooden and metal display stands, and 8 tuk-tuks used for selling beverages and cigarettes. In addition, scrap materials were collected and sorted, and an illegal coffee cart was also seized.

Encroachments and violations were further removed from several districts, including the 10th, 11th, 12th, 14th, 15th, and 16th districts, with the necessary legal measures taken against all recorded violations.

The authority continues to intensify such campaigns during public holidays and official vacations, alongside ongoing monitoring to detect and address any new violations, ensuring uninterrupted traffic flow and preserving the city’s organized and civilized image.

The authority stressed that these field operations form part of a comprehensive plan to eliminate disorder and restore full organization to streets and main squares, thereby enhancing quality of life and protecting the urban environment.

It also highlighted the importance of cooperation between citizens, business owners, and executive bodies by adhering to designated activity zones and avoiding any occupation of sidewalks or road rights-of-way.

The authority confirmed that these campaigns will continue regularly and unexpectedly across all districts and neighborhoods, with strict legal action taken against violators, in order to preserve the city’s civilized image, ensure smooth traffic movement, and provide a safe and well-organized environment for both residents and visitors.
