Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the extension of the booking period, the purchase of the conditions booklet, and the payment of seriousness deposits and administrative fees in the second offering of the presidential initiative Housing for All Egyptians 7. The initiative targets citizens with low and middle incomes, and the booking period will now continue until Sunday, September 28, 2025.
The minister explained that this decision comes in response to recommendations from the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Fund, which had received requests from citizens who needed additional time to complete the required documents and pay the booking deposit.
On the other hand, Mai Abdel Hamid, CEO of the Social Housing Fund, pointed out that the number of citizens who registered their data through the online platform has exceeded 238,000 people, while more than 148,000 citizens have already paid the booking deposit through post offices.
Abdel Hamid stressed the importance of completing all the steps outlined in the conditions booklet, clarifying that online registration alone is not sufficient for official application unless the deposit is paid and the remaining procedures are finalized.
As part of the facilities provided to citizens, the Fund has released instructional videos explaining the registration steps via the Egypt Digital Platform and YouTube. It has also dedicated customer service hotlines to respond to inquiries through the following numbers: 15999 (available 24/7), and 5777, 5999, 1188 from mobile phones, as well as 090071117 from landlines during official working days from Sunday to Thursday.
Additionally, the Fund has made available a service for citizens to submit complaints via its official website dedicated to this second offering, while also continuing to provide updates and responses through its official social media pages on platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and X.
