Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the allocation of 568 plots of land in the Al-Rabia area of El Shorouk City through a manual public lottery in its eleventh round. This step comes as part of efforts to settle the status of citizens in line with the approved detailed plans for the area.
The minister explained that the objective is to accelerate the process of legalizing land ownership and to boost development in newly established areas of new cities. He added that the latest lottery included applicants who had paid the required down payments to settle their status in the Al-Rabia area.

For his part, Engineer Bassam Mohamed Fadl, Head of El Shorouk City Authority, confirmed that the lottery was conducted in the presence of Accountant Ihab El-Morkab, Assistant Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority for Real Estate Affairs, along with other concerned officials. He clarified that the land allocations were distributed as follows:

219 plots with an area of 209 square meters

202 plots with an area of 276 square meters

70 plots with an area of 400 square meters

60 plots with an area of 500 square meters

15 plots with an area of 600 square meters

2 plots with an area of 800 square meters
Fadl noted that citizens were received starting at 10:00 a.m. to register attendance, and the doors were closed at 12:00 noon before the lottery activities began in the presence of authority officials. He confirmed that citizens were allowed entry upon presenting their national ID card and the original payment receipt.
