Minister of Housing Sherif El-Sherbiny announced the delivery of the first experimental education school in the West Airport area of New October City, built on an area of 15,000 m², in preparation for its operation and reception of students at the beginning of the upcoming academic year. This comes alongside progress in the “Diarna” middle-income housing project and the “Green Housing” units under the “Housing for All Egyptians” initiative.
The minister highlighted the importance of providing educational and healthcare services in the new urban communities, while ensuring compliance with the quality standards required for service projects currently being implemented to serve residents.
Mohamed Abdel-Maqsoud, Head of the New October City Development Authority, confirmed that the school is ready to operate according to the highest standards. He also pointed out the ongoing implementation and delivery of schools, health units, and nurseries in line with the state’s plan to improve quality of life. He explained that the school includes 42 classrooms, six of which are dedicated to kindergarten.
Regarding the Diarna project, the Head of the Authority confirmed that work is being accelerated to complete the development, which provides 494 housing units with full facilities and services in the “Sakan Misr Oasis” area.
As for the Green Housing project, 599 residential buildings are being constructed in the West Airport area as part of the presidential initiative. Field tours have been conducted to monitor the progress of structural and finishing works, as well as to review designs to ensure adherence to technical specifications.
These projects aim to support urban development and provide modern housing units with integrated services that meet the needs of residents and the aspirations of future generations.
