Major General Pilot Akram Mohamed Galal, Governor of Ismailia, received Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, in his office during the minister’s visit to the governorate aimed at discussing work files and areas of mutual cooperation. The meeting was attended by several officials from the Ministry of Housing and relevant authorities.
In his remarks, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny expressed his gratitude to the Governor of Ismailia for the warm welcome and the continuous coordination on issues related to the ministry’s work. He explained that his visit aimed to follow up and coordinate joint projects between the two sides, particularly concerning drinking water and sanitation systems, in addition to housing projects. He stressed his full readiness to provide the necessary support to the people of the governorate and to meet their needs.
For his part, the Governor of Ismailia welcomed the visit and praised it as evidence of the state’s attention to the governorate. He pointed out that several files were presented during the meeting, including drinking water and sanitation projects, social housing projects, as well as discussions on obstacles hindering some projects. He emphasized that these issues are of great priority given their direct impact on citizens’ lives.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Minister of Housing directed the continuation of coordination between the two sides to complete the ongoing projects and resolve any obstacles they might face. He also called for preparing lists of the necessary requirements for implementing future projects in a way that meets citizens’ needs and supports sustainable development in the governorate.
