Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the offering of 17 land plots designated for craft activities, each with an area of 300 square meters, located in the Seventh District of New Minya City. Additionally, the ministry announced the offering of usufruct rights for 53 craft workshops in Hadayek October City, with sizes ranging between 13 square meters and 29 square meters.
The minister confirmed that this step comes as part of the ministry’s efforts to provide job opportunities, support small and medium-sized enterprises, and ensure the availability of diverse services within the new cities.
In a statement, the New Minya City Authority explained that the conditions booklets and specifications are available at the authority’s headquarters, with the option to inspect the sites in person during official working hours. It further noted that the public auction session for the sale of the plots will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the authority’s premises.

In a related context, the Hadayek October City Authority reported that the workshops will be allocated under a usufruct system for a period of five years, through two public auction sessions scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, October 1 and 2, 2025. It also confirmed that the workshops can be inspected in person during official working hours, and that the conditions booklets are available at the authority’s headquarters.
