The Badr City Development Authority, affiliated with the New Urban Communities Authority, has announced the offering of seven commercial shops along with one pharmacy for sale through a public auction. This offering is part of the marketplace designated for employees of the New Administrative Capital within the eastern area surrounding 196 buildings, in support of the plans to provide commercial and service activities that enhance the city’s urban expansion.
The Authority clarified that the available spaces range between 18 square meters and 37 square meters, providing diverse investment opportunities for participants in the auction. The auction session is scheduled to take place on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at the Authority’s headquarters.
Regarding the terms and specifications booklet, the announcement stated that it is available at the Authority’s headquarters for a price of 299 EGP per shop or pharmacy. The security deposit to participate in the auction has been set at 50,000 EGP for each shop and 100,000 EGP for the pharmacy, to be paid before the auction session.
The conditions stipulate that 10% of the total value awarded in the auction must be paid immediately, in addition to 1% as administrative expenses and 0.5% in favor of the Board of Trustees. The winning bidder is also required to pay a maintenance deposit within one month and prior to actual handover.
The Badr City Authority further indicated that the remaining contract value can be paid through facilitated installment systems, offering significant flexibility for investors. Interested parties may also inspect the sites in person during official working hours.
