Minister of Housing Follows Up on Residential Projects, Utilities, and Services in New Qena City

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, monitored the progress of residential and service projects in New Qena City, including infrastructure works for the city’s expansions and ongoing development projects.

This came through inspection tours and analytical reports on project advancement. The minister emphasized the importance of accelerating work on two basic education schools with a combined capacity of 75 classrooms, in addition to a model youth center extending over 15 feddans. He also highlighted the implementation of 28 residential buildings under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians,” along with a nursery building and a commercial market. The minister stressed the need to complete these projects as quickly as possible while maintaining field visits to address any challenges during execution.

Engineer Yasser Abdallah Ramadan, Head of the New Qena City Authority, inspected the construction of a 33-classroom model school at the service center of District 4 in the Second Neighborhood, and a 42-classroom model school in the social housing area of the Third Neighborhood, both of which have reached advanced stages. He also followed up on asphalting works in the tourism and entertainment zone of the Fourth Neighborhood, stressing the importance of improving execution rates and quality.
