Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, inaugurated the “Mediterranean Investment Gateway MIG” forum, held for the first time on Friday, August 22, 2025, at North Square Mall in New Alamein City. The forum is organized in collaboration between TH Group and Counsel Masters.
The event runs for eight days and features broad participation from senior officials and representatives of real estate and investment companies in Egypt and the Arab region. The minister emphasized that New Alamein City stands as an inspiring model for the cities of the future, with the necessary capabilities to attract investments and support comprehensive development. He further stressed that the government is working to create a fully integrated investment environment through the implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects, alongside regulatory and legislative facilities designed to boost investor confidence in the Egyptian market.
This forum comes within the framework of the Ministry of Housing’s efforts to promote Egyptian real estate globally and attract investments to new cities, particularly in light of the significant boom witnessed by the real estate sector at all levels. It also coincides with the state’s vision to develop fourth-generation cities and enhance investment opportunities in coastal and newly developed urban areas.
The forum highlights the government’s direction toward strengthening direct investments, discussing key topics such as sustainable urban development, successful models of public-private partnerships, strategies for attracting foreign investments, and the role of real estate tourism. It also sheds light on the importance of media in supporting the state’s investment vision, in addition to leveraging artificial intelligence tools and digital marketing to develop and promote the real estate sector.
