Housing Ministry Follows Up on the Implementation of 4,761 Units within the Housing for All Egyptians Initiative in 10th of Ramadan City

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, inspected the progress of 4,761 housing units under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” in 10th of Ramadan City. These units are part of projects designed to meet the needs of low- and middle-income citizens while also supporting green housing development.

The minister emphasized the importance of continuing field visits to residential and service project sites in new cities to ensure they are executed according to the set timelines and standard specifications, while addressing any challenges that may hinder progress.

For his part, Engineer Alaa Abdallah, Head of the 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority, inspected several vital projects in the Regional Services Area. He began his tour with the “Housing for All Egyptians – Middle-Income Housing Axis” project, where construction and site coordination are progressing at full speed. This project includes 68 buildings with a total of 1,632 fully serviced residential units, with unit sizes ranging from 100 to 110 to 120 square meters. The project has reached a completion rate of about 95%, indicating that it is nearing finalization and handover to beneficiaries.

The tour also included following up on the “Green Housing – Low-Income Axis” project in its fifth and sixth phases. The fifth phase comprises 90 buildings with 1,842 units, each ranging between 75 and 90 square meters, with a completion rate of 80%. Meanwhile, the sixth phase consists of 54 buildings containing 1,296 units, each with an area of 90 square meters, with a current completion rate of 20%.

During the visit, the Head of the Authority stressed to the implementing companies the necessity of adhering to the set deadlines while ensuring the highest quality standards in execution. He pointed out that these projects fall within the state’s plan to provide fully serviced housing options that align with environmental standards, aiming to enhance quality of life and achieve sustainable urban development in 10th of Ramadan City.
