Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the start of handing over residential land plots under the “Middle-Income Housing” project in the expansions of New Assiut City, beginning Monday, September 1, 2025, and continuing until Tuesday, October 21, 2025, according to the schedule set by the New Assiut City Development Authority.
In a press release issued today, Friday, the minister emphasized that the ministry is strongly committed to meeting the needs of citizens across various income brackets by providing a wide range of housing units and residential land plots. He also stressed the importance of facilitating delivery procedures and providing the necessary support to speed up the process.
For his part, Engineer Mohamed Metwally Saber, Head of the New Assiut City Development Authority, explained that the delivery of middle-income housing plots in the 85-acre area located in the southeastern expansions will follow a specific timetable. Plots numbered 1 to 30 will be handed over on Monday, September 1, 2025, followed by plots 31 to 60 on Tuesday, plots 61 to 90 on Wednesday, and continuing up to plots 241 to 270, which will be handed over on Thursday, September 11. The process will then continue for the remaining plots on subsequent days until the final group is delivered on Wednesday, September 22.
As for the plots located in the First Neighborhood within the 1,304-acre area in the northwestern expansions, the Authority’s Head noted that delivery will begin on Sunday, September 28, 2025, with plots 1 to 30. The process will continue in order until plots 361 to 390 are delivered on Wednesday, October 15. The final stage will conclude with the remaining plots handed over between Sunday, October 19, and Tuesday, October 21.
The Head of the New Assiut City Authority confirmed that these dates were carefully planned to ensure a smooth and stable delivery process, urging citizens to adhere strictly to the specified schedules to guarantee orderly and efficient procedures.
