Eng. Ashraf Fathy Mahmoud, Head of the New Damietta City Authority, conducted a field tour to follow up on an urban development project jointly implemented by the New Urban Communities Authority and the private sector in Ras El-Bar City. The project spans an area of 41 acres and includes chalets and residential apartment buildings.
During the tour, he was accompanied by several officials from the Authority who reviewed the project’s implementation status. The focus was on monitoring infrastructure works, preparing the corniche area, and developing the services complex in parallel with construction activities. Emphasis was placed on adhering to the approved timeline and ensuring quality at all stages of execution. Any obstacles encountered were addressed in close coordination with the relevant authorities.

In addition, the Head of the Authority visited a dairy products factory in the industrial zone, where he inspected production lines and reviewed the manufacturing process from raw materials to the final product. During the visit, he stressed the Authority’s support for local industries and efforts to boost exports, expressing readiness to address any challenges faced by companies and factories. He also highlighted the importance of balancing product quality with environmental preservation.
