Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, issued Ministerial Decree No. 1547 of 2024 approving the amendment of the planning and subdivision of plot No. (6 A/1), with an area of 2.5 acres (equivalent to 10,500 square meters), located in basin No. (5) in the Green Belt area within the city of 6th of October.
This decision represents an amendment to the previously approved master plan under Ministerial Decree No. 855 of 2022, allocated to Alaa El-Din Ali Atwa Shahin and Sohaila Abdallah Mohamed Al-Nouri. The amendment aims to establish a residential project under an in-kind compensation system, involving the transfer of 50% of the land to the state, along with the allocation of commercial services, the addition of a price premium, and the implementation of off-site servicing works for the location.
The Ministry of Housing explained that this amendment comes as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance integrated urban development projects and facilitate procedures for real estate developers in new cities, in line with approved planning regulations and standards.
