Eng. Bassam Mohamed Fadl, Head of the El Shorouk City Authority, conducted an inspection tour to follow up on the main water supply line project, which serves several residential areas. The tour also included a visit to the construction site of the temporary water pressure boosting station for the Al Rabwa area within the city, accompanied by officials from the authority and representatives of the executing companies.
The Head of El Shorouk City Authority pointed out that the execution progress of the main water supply line for Residential Areas 1, 2, 7, 8, and 9 has reached 80% completion. The pipeline consists of varying diameters, including 300mm, 400mm, 500mm, and 600mm, with the aim of ensuring a continuous and secure water supply for the city’s residents. The total length of the line exceeds 3,500 meters.
He also explained that work is underway on constructing a temporary water pressure boosting station to supply the Al Rabwa area. The station will increase the water pressure in the network to guarantee efficient delivery to all homes within the area.
The Head of the Authority added that the water pumps and electromechanical equipment necessary to operate the station have already been supplied and installed. These include advanced automated control systems designed to ensure the sustainable provision of water to the area’s residents.
During the inspection, the Head of the Authority emphasized to the executing companies the importance of working around the clock and implementing the project with the highest standards of accuracy and quality, while adhering to approved regulations to ensure the project is completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
