The Cabinet has approved the resolution issued by the Board of Directors of the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Support Fund (Decision No. 17/31/2025, dated June 22, 2025), to commence the construction of 116 residential buildings in the North Al-Ahyaa area of Hurghada City. This comes as part of the “Housing for All Egyptians 7” project, which includes the development of 2,320 fully finished housing units, each with an area of 120 square meters, designed in accordance with the standards of the New Urban Communities Authority, and equipped with elevators inside the buildings.
The objective of this project is to meet the housing needs of middle-income citizens who were not allocated units in previous offerings. The selected location is strategically chosen for its readiness and availability of public utilities, and the site was deemed appropriate based on a feasibility study conducted by the Central Agency for Reconstruction.
In addition to the residential units, the project also includes the establishment of commercial service facilities covering an area of 15,000 square meters in separate buildings. These services are intended to meet the essential needs of residents and create new employment opportunities within the region.
