The New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), through the Badr City Development Authority, has announced the public auction of a traditional (baladi) bakery for sale, with a total area of 395 square meters. This offering is part of the authority’s broader efforts to provide integrated services to citizens and support the subsidized bread system in new urban cities.
The bakery, which includes the building itself and its surrounding wall, is located in the 53 Apartment Zone of the “Sakan Misr” project in the eastern extension of the city. The facility is ready for operation and presents an attractive investment opportunity for individuals or companies working in the food industry.
The auction session is scheduled for Tuesday, August 13, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the headquarters of the Badr City Authority. The authority has made the terms and specifications booklet available for purchase at the authority’s headquarters for 299 EGP, and site visits can be arranged during official working hours.
To participate in the auction, applicants must submit a security deposit of 150,000 EGP no later than the auction day. Additionally, 10% of the sale value must be paid immediately upon award, with the remaining balance due within a maximum period of three months.
The authority emphasized that the sale process will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 182 of 2018 on the Regulation of Public Tenders and Auctions and its executive regulations. Furthermore, the winning bidder must comply with the requirements of the Ministry of Supply should the bakery become part of the subsidized bread system.
This offering aligns with the authority’s plan to enhance commercial and service activity within social housing projects and the “Sakan Misr” initiative, aiming to support ownership and employment opportunities for citizens.
