Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a comprehensive meeting at the headquarters of the New Alamein City Authority to follow up on the progress and implementation status of the “Sawary” project located in the West Carrefour area of Alexandria Governorate. The meeting was attended by several ministry officials, representatives from the New Urban Communities Authority, the head of the city authority, and representatives of the companies executing the project.
During the meeting, the minister reviewed the execution phases of the project, which includes 64 residential towers housing 3,068 residential units, in addition to 310 villas. He clarified that this project falls within the state’s plan to provide various housing models and implement developmental and service-oriented projects that contribute to enhancing the quality of life for the residents of Alexandria.
The minister emphasized the importance of the project as one of the prominent urban developments in western Alexandria, noting its modern urban character and integrated services.
He also reviewed the progress of infrastructure works, including roads, electricity, gas, and telecommunications, stressing the importance of adhering to the set timelines for completing the works. He called for acceleration of the execution programs to ensure timely delivery of units while addressing any observations to ensure the highest levels of quality in execution.
He also highlighted the importance of coordination between ministry bodies and the executing companies to ensure the project is completed according to the highest approved standards. This coordination reflects the state’s vision of delivering advanced housing projects that align with the modern urban renaissance and provide comprehensive services for residents.
