Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, along with Major General Tarek Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia, inspected the progress of the drinking water and sanitation systems in the governorate. The system comprises 204 water stations with a capacity of 1.37 million m³/day and 761 wastewater treatment stations with a capacity of 615,000 m³/day, in addition to 4,857 kilometers of pipeline networks.
The visit also included follow-up on projects under the “Decent Life” initiative aimed at serving the villages of Sherbin Center. These include 32 water projects and 24 sanitation projects. The Minister emphasized the importance of adhering to the designated project timelines to ensure timely delivery and enhance the quality of life for citizens.
