Mai Abdel Hamid, CEO of the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Support Fund, has announced that the reservation window for residential units will open from Tuesday, August 5, 2025, until Wednesday, August 13. This comes following the completion of the application screening process for the “Housing for All Egyptians 7” initiative, which received a total of 20,638 applications.
The screening results revealed that 10,894 applications met the eligibility criteria, while 9,744 applications were rejected for various reasons—most notably due to applicants already owning electricity or gas meters, which is considered a disqualifying factor.
Abdel Hamid added that the Fund received 6,905 appeal requests, of which 5,830 were accepted, and the review of remaining appeals is still ongoing. She also noted that SMS messages will be sent on July 30 to eligible applicants. These messages will include details about the city, reservation date, and a dedicated electronic link for booking.
Housing Minister Sherif El-Sherbini announced that Tuesday is the final day to submit appeals, emphasizing the Fund’s commitment to fairness and transparency by allowing applicants to submit all necessary documents for reconsideration.

Tuesday, August 5: Reserved for clients from previous announcements.

Wednesday, August 6: Booking units in Hadayek Al-Asima (Capital Gardens), Cairo.

Thursday, August 7: Booking for clients in 15th of May City and Badr City.

Sunday, August 10: Booking opens for 6th of October City.

Monday, August 11: Booking for Hadayek October City.

Tuesday, August 12: Booking for various governorates and cities, including:

Hurghada, Gamasa, Shata, Zarqa, 10th of Ramadan,

New Beni Suef, New Aswan, El Alamein,

Nasser City in Assiut, New Minya, and New Rashid.
