Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly held a meeting in New Alamein City to review the progress of land legalization in several new cities. The meeting also covered discussions on various offerings, including residential units, land plots, and ongoing development projects. The session was attended by the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, along with the Deputy Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA).
During the meeting, Madbouly emphasized the importance of legalizing land status to safeguard national resources and ensure legal and societal stability. He stressed the need for the timely delivery of lands that have had their legal status settled.
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny presented an overview of the Ministry of Housing’s efforts in monitoring the progress of national projects. These initiatives aim to provide suitable housing units for citizens and upgrade utilities and services in new urban areas. In this context, the Minister provided a summary of the ongoing project offerings, aimed at making a wide range of residential units and land plots available to accommodate various segments of society.
He highlighted the launch of numerous housing projects under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians,” which targets low- and middle-income citizens through the Social Housing Program, while also offering market-rate units for those with the financial means. Additionally, the Minister addressed the status of land along major thoroughfares, referencing ongoing work on the 26th of July Corridor, including the road expansion project beneath the monorail line.
