Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has directed the immediate review of the executed facade works for the Green Housing Project, part of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians,” as well as the Diarna middle-income residential project in Sadat City. He emphasized the importance of regular follow-up by ministry work teams and responsible authorities to ensure the project is completed to the highest standards and achieves its intended goals.
This directive came during the minister’s inspection tour, which included several projects under the “Housing for All Egyptians” initiative, in addition to a visit to the industrial wastewater separation plant in Sadat City.
The Green Housing Project, comprising 82 residential buildings with a total of 1,968 units, focuses on promoting sustainability through the use of eco-friendly construction materials to conserve energy.
In a related context, the minister explained that the Diarna middle-income housing project includes 520 residential units and aims to diversify housing models to meet the varying needs of citizens. He also instructed those overseeing the project to expedite execution to remain on schedule and deliver the units to residents as soon as possible.
The tour concluded with a visit to the industrial wastewater separation station in Sadat City, which has an operational capacity of 25,000 cubic meters per day. This project is part of the ongoing efforts to enhance the wastewater system by separating industrial waste from human sewage to improve overall efficiency.
