Prime Minister Inspects Downtown Towers and Downtown Lagoon Projects in New Alamein

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly conducted an inspection tour to follow up on major projects in New Alamein City, accompanied by Housing Minister Sherif El Sherbiny and officials from the Ministry of Housing and the New Urban Communities Authority.

The tour began with a visit to the Downtown Towers Project, which is designed to be a world-class tourism and investment destination in collaboration with China’s CSCEC company. The project features five residential towers, including the iconic tower that rises to 250 meters, alongside four towers each standing at 200 meters tall.

Madbouly also inspected the Downtown Lagoon Project, located in the heart of the tower zone. He reviewed the progress of the artificial lakes, where the trial filling of the largest lagoon within the development has already begun. The project includes 11 lagoons, along with islands, pedestrian pathways, cycling lanes, and electric vehicle routes, all designed to enhance the city’s identity as a sustainable tourist destination.
