Minister of Housing Sherif El-Sherbiny has announced that the handover of 1,008 residential units from the “Janna” housing project in New Cairo will begin on July 8, 2025, and continue until August 5, 2025. He emphasized the importance of streamlining the handover process, avoiding delays or complaints, and ensuring the completion of work in the remaining units.
Eng. Abdel Raouf El-Ghaity, Head of the New Cairo City Development Authority, revealed the specific handover schedule for the “Janna” units located in the southern El-Gam’eyat (Associations Land) zone. Units in buildings numbered 248 to 263 will be handed over from July 8 to July 17, 2025, followed by buildings 264 to 321, which will be handed over from July 20 to August 5, 2025.
He also noted that successful applicants must first visit the Housing and Development Bank branch in Fifth Settlement to complete the contract procedures. Afterward, they must submit the original bank approval letter to the Citizens Services Office at the Authority’s main office, located behind the South 90 Water Station. Additionally, a copy of the signed checks must be provided to register the data on the system and receive a site visit letter to inspect and receive the housing unit.
